SINGING CRAZE THAT HAS SWEPT THE NATION ARRIVES IN YEOVIL
You wouldn’t need to have kept your eyes wide open to realise that the last couple of years has seen the great institution known as THE CHOIR make a come back across our nation. In the hands of well known choir master Gareth Malone for example, folk from all walks of life have ‘given it a go’, resulting in huge networks of people regularly getting out there for a good old sing.
Now the craze is about to hit YEOVIL, in the hands of professional musician and teacher Matthew Rock. Via a brand new initiative called “uSING”, the very opportunity to join all walks of life together has arrived, with the fundamental purpose of giving EVERYONE the opportunity to come in their droves and have a good old go at singing – whether they like it or not!
Many will be familiar with Matthew’s most recent project as he completed 26 performances in 26 different venues in one night - in aid of the Bristol Children’s Hospital. Now his enthusiasm, wit and musical expertise will lead Yeovil’s brand new CHOIR FOR EVERYONE to great heights.
Matthew says: “This is not your average choir! – It’s for literally everyone. Family, friends, workmates, those who like to sing, those who don’t like singing but want to like it, those who have usually been too nervous to give it a go and those who are fed up with diet clubs!! - AND EVERYONE WHO I’VE MISSED OFF!! – AND EVERYONE ELSE!”
